Just about sums up what I think of tutors. People ask me why I've had no training and I tell them it's because I didn't want my head 'f******'. Tutors (and I do generalise here) have this knack of only teaching you their way, anything else is rubbish. My son, he's a gobby little so and so, endlessly gets into trouble because he dares to question his tutors. I've always taught him to question everything and don't take anything at face value. Investigate and come to your own conclusions. Just because they're teachers, doesn't make them always right! I got chucked out of my school age 15, also for being a gobby little so and so. Oh well, never mind. I wonder if those teachers are still there, doing the same job, day in, day out, saying the same stuff, surpressing more little inquisitive minds.
